Google has launched an application for data saving applications for Android users in developing countries. This app called Datally will be used to save data as well as how valuable data is being spent on it.
Data spending is still relatively high in many countries. Google has said that the app has been built keeping in mind the customers of these countries. A Google study showed that there are many users all over the world who have trouble using data on their smartphones. However, this problem is seen in new users who are known as 'Next billion users'. Google will say that this app will work as a solution to this problem.
Through the Datally Data Saver feature, an Android phone user can choose which apps will be able to access and receive updates. As a result, it will be possible to reduce up to 30% of additional data charges.
The app has an option called Data Saver Bubble. When a user starts using data from an app, this bubble will show data usage. If you wish, you can stop using the data from there.
The app will be available from this link from Google Play Store.
